Vintage Small Wood Jewelry Storage Stash Box Trippy Mushrooms & Hidden Unlock

Description

For sale is a small wooden jewelry, trinket, valuables, storage or stash box. The box has a earty green color with a 3D raised design featuring three trippy mushrooms growing out of a raised mound of moss and soil.   A ring of either eyes or circle design hold a strange red oval, centered on top of the mound.  If you follow the roots they seem to match each set of eyes around the red oval.  The mushrooms most likely resemble "magic mushrooms", of the psychedelic edible variety.  The box is well constructed with a double-hinged opening lid.  The front 1/2" bottom piece of wood slides to the right to unlock the box.  Slide left to lock.  Very clever and hidden system.  Measurements are roughly 6 inches long x 4 inches wide x 2.5 inches high.  Actual 5 7/8" x 4" x 2 1/2".  Some light scratches or chipped green paint from use and age.  I can't confirm date to 1960's but seems likely from construction, colors and subject.  It could be 1970's or later.  Date of manufacture and if box is handmade or not is considered as 'unknown'.  I charge no handling fees and charge two dollars for shipping.  Thanks for looking and take care.
