Vintage 60's Retro Paper Purse Handbag Applique

SUPER COOL, SO CUTE 60's purse with coolest decoration of fabulously dressed women!!!  The tag inside reads: "100% Paper, made in china RN #80934."  The purse looks like woven straw dyed charcoal gray.  The women/girls dressed in their 60s designer fashion attire showcase several techniques from their embroidered heads, hair, eyes, lips arms and bellies to their beaded purses, belts, necklaces and applied puff polyester sleeve blouses and flowered or striped material pants.  They have ribbon and sequence accents and one even has a beaded arm bracelet.  The shoes and two of the purses are embroidered straw.  the purse shape is like a fan style with vinyl handles and inside border with a working snap on the inside so that nothing detracts from the beautiful decoration on the outside.  There are vinyl bottom guards and this purse is in remarkable condition for its age and use as there are no missing or coming apart pieces of straw.  the corners (see pics) show only the slightest wear.  The inside bright green cotton type material liner of the purse is fairly clean, showing only slightest discoloration, very few pen marks.  The zippered pocket inside is in good working condition.  In my opinion the inside is also in super shape considering its many years of use and the likelihood of spillage of makeup and other things we girls carry around in purses.  FABULOUS FUN accent piece!!!
