USGI 1987 Airborne Parachute Harness Assembly Only. The parachute shows a contract date of 1985 but it shows a printed 1987 manufacture date. This is a parachute harness assembly only. There is no parachute and no pack tray. It is just the harness only. This would be excellent for anyone needing to complete a parachute or replacing existing one that is terrible condition. Please observe pictures closely for this is a used item. It do show signs of stress and age from being in storage, however it does not take away from the uniqueness of the harness. This would be a excellent piece for training Airborne soldiers on the familiarization of a parachute from that time frame. Or it can just be a great conversation piece. I don't think I would jump it due to his age and storage time, however the buckles and straps and snap hooks up here to operate despite slight patina.
