    Description

    Absolutely a one of a kind! Mid Century 1960s hand woven basket with flowers in orange, gold, brown, green and tan colors.  This has been in my family since the mid 60s when my mom purchased it.  Part of her estate and time for a new home. Always kept inside and indirect lighting so no fading on the bright flowers.  Handle is standing 17" tall and basket is 10-11" wide at mid section.  The basket a little lopsided, but gives it interest. The lid is attached but can open as shown.  One of the gold/tan flowers I took out the tag says (Made publ) then I can't make out the next letter which is under the overlap, but could possibly be an i. There is 33 flowers that are quite heavy and and hand made in some sort of straw? The wires are wrapped in green and you can pose them how you like.  See photos for sizes of flowers which are all different and none are alike since they are hand made.
