This is an unique and amazing artifact piece of Lynyrd Skynyrd history as offered is a clear guitar pick encased with a piece of the silver, liner fuselage from the Lynyrd Skynyrd Convair 240 plane that crashed in Gillsburg , Mississippi on October 20th, 1977 with the planes tail number engraved in the steel " N55VM " by rock and roll specialist jeweler and historian Heather Langley of Plectrum Heaven. The pick also contains a small chip of white paint from the plane and blue laminate from the planes interior. The lot comes with a personally signed by Artimus Pyle " A Thumbnail Sketch If Tragedy ", which is Artimus's personal recollection of the event. The lot also comes with a beautiful and detailed signed COA from Plectrum Heaven's Heather Langley as jeweler to the stars, former board member for The Lynyrd Skynyrd Monument in Gillsburg, Miss. and frequent visitor to the original site.
