Korean War US Navy Seatpack 28' Parachute - MFG Pioneer 1970

Korean War era  Navy Seatpack 28' Parachute by Pioneer Manufactured in 1970.
I inherited this from my great uncle among other items.
It was stored in a shed sitting on the floor outside Denver CO.  Some leather straps and sewed marks appear to be deteriorated.  Last checked 20 Dec 1987 as indicated on the placard.
Some pieces of this seatpack may be missing, but it is more complete than the other parachute I have.  Uncle Tex probably brought this back with him after Vietnam, where he was a navy aviator.  I know nothing about parachutes or jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.  Please check this with a rigger before using.  Would make a great collector's piece.  Actual item shown.  Sold as is.  No returns.
