This hardy and undemanding plant is a mid-ground plant native to the shallow rivers of Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Just like other Crypt species, this one requires stable water parameters and can't be moved all the time as the leaves will start to melt. It does not require CO2 injection but benefits from it as well as liquid fertilizers. This plant has big, elongated broad leaves with green coloration on top and light green on the underside.
When pruned every so often it will grow more like a bush instead of tall and high, which is more appealing. It will propagate by sending runners.
Quite common in the aquarium hobby and great for beginners.
It will propagate quickly by sending runners once settled in its new environment.

If the plant is indeed dead/melted/damaged, we will gladly send you a replacement or we'll refund you if the item is no longer in stock.
After contacting us, and after we give you the green light to return an item, you can do so by shipping the item to the address we will then provide to you.

Shipped via USPS First Class Package 2-3 days - All our plants are packed in heat sealed durable plastic bags. They are packed with enough water to be comfortable and plenty of oxygen that lasts up to 1 week. They are then wrapped around in bubble wrap or newspaper, and put in durable boxes to prevent them from getting crushed.
Our Shipping days for Plants are Monday through Wednesday - orders placed on Wednesday after 7 a.m. (EST) will be shipped next Monday. This is done to avoid your plants getting stuck at a USPS facility over the weekend.
