I AM THE 3RD OWNER... THIS IS OFFICIALLY A CLASSIC VEHICLE, THIS IS FOR COLLECTORS AND ALL WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT MERCEDES-BENZ... THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR FOR THIS BODY STYLE, WITH THE, NOW FAMILIAR, "DOUBLE TEAR DROP" HEADLIGHTS... THIS CAR DESIGN WAS FAR AHEAD OF IT'S TIME IN 1996...It has been parked in our driveway since the middle of 2016, after I purchased a newer vehicle (along with a Classic 1986 KENWORTH K100e cabover diesel CAT, right here on eBay in 2014. But that's a story for another listing...). Nevertheless, the photos reveal how well she's been taken care of. Particularly the engine and the interior. The dent in the driver's side front fender is from my wife backing into it, while coming out of our garage. There are minor spots of oxidation between both front doors and their corresponding front fenders, and one just above the front passenger door, that needs attention: 3 total. So, yes, she'll need to be painted. She had over 140K miles when I bought her in New York State in 2006. It now has 265634 miles. Of course, for a Diesel engine, this is barely broken in! For more, refer to the VIN# (SEE LAST PHOTO OF VIN# INSIDE OF BOTTOM, DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT WINDSHEILD).
    -EXTREMELY comfortable ride
-EXTREMELY quiet diesel (especially if you have access to biodiesel, which organically provides greater lubricity & longer engine life)
-thoroughly adjustable leather seats, heated front seats
    -side mounted airbags standard
-"slower" to accelerate than gasoline or electric cars, however, once she's moving, watch out...
    -134 hp @ 5000 rpm
    -155 lb-ft torque @ 2600 rpm
    -near 40 mpg highway/27 city
    -17.2 gal fuel capacity
    -450 mile range/tank full
    -37.1 ft turning radius
