Hello…. Up for bid is a beautiful 1965 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible!!   This is a survivor car that is very hard to find and just out of long term ownership.    It is powered by the powerful 400CI 345HP Ultra High Compression V8 Engine and Automatic Transmission.   It runs smooth and accelerates great down the road.    The transmission shifts great through gears.    It handles the road nice and straight.    The ride is very smooth and comfortable.    It has power steering and power brakes.   The car has been sitting from the most part of many years rarely driven and may require basic maintenance to make reliable but it is fun to drive and enjoy.   I drove it on the highway about 15 miles last week.   The paint is a beautiful red in color and was redone years back.    It shines great and the body is straight.    I am sure there was filler used and does have some small blemishes as expected of a classic car.    The chrome and trim is original, still bright but shows age up close.    The white convertible top looks recently replaced and is in nice condition.    The doors shut great, all body lines are nice as well.    The glass is in good condition with no cracks.    The interior appears to be original and in nice shape for the year but surely not show quality.    It has bucket seats with middle console and factory console tachometer.    The seats have average wear but no rips, dash has no cracks and looks good, door panels show age, carpet is in nice shape, seat belts still look great.     It has power windows that work good, power top needs some help but is functional.   The original radio still works.   The engine compartment shows nice and original.   The underside has some typical surface rust and looks factory zebarted.     This is a good driver quality car, not a show car.    It gets a lot of attention and compliments.    If you are looking for a cool classic convertible this is a great car.    They are getting hard to find in good condition like this one- here is a rare chance to buy a 442 convertible.     Has a clean / clear title.    If you have any questions or want to make an offer please email, call or text me at
